Large-scale street mural situated on Pepper Lane, Coventry UK. Commissioned by Creative Giants for Coventry City Council as part of City of Culture 2021.
The mural brings together elements representing Coventry's mythic past, tangible present, and imagined future in a dreamlike composition where disparate realities intersect and inspiration is born.
The 83 m2 mural was hand-painted with acrylics by Matt Chu on fifteen individual plywood boards, then mounted to the masonry. The accompanying wall colours were also chosen and arranged by the artist.
